Current Projects

We have two current projects in Tanzania.

Saint John's University - Nursing school

Supporting the School of Nursing of Saint John’s University of Tanzania -

This nursing school is now the largest nursing school in Tanzania.  It offers a BSN in Nursing.  Plans are also being made for a Master’s in Nursing Education (distance learning) to start in the near future.  This should make a significant increase in the number of Nurses in Tanzania.

Zinga Pediatric Hospital

Building the first stand alone Pediatric Hospital located near Zinga -

There is a great need for excellent pediatric care for the children of Tanzania.  In addition, the need for teaching pediatric care to the medical community is great.  We have joined with the local NGO (non governmental international organization) JEMA CHILD CARE TANZANIA in building the first stand alone pediatric hospital in Tanzania at Zinga (near Bagamoyo).

Ground breaking starts Feb.10, 2013, and we hope to have the first phase completed by Christmas 2013.

All are welcome to join in these two exciting projects: constructing, organizing, donating, carrying bricks or becoming involved with the nursing program.  Contact us at: Paula or phone in the US to 870-404-4491.
