Message From Mrs. Bibianna Mwaluko, Dean of the College of Allied Health, Department of Nursing, Saint John’s University

Warm Greetings from Tanzania. We are very excited to be given the challenge of developing a new Department of Nursing. The opportunity to influence the profession of Nursing is an inspiring challenge and we welcome you to be a part of it.

As it is in every developing country, we are desperately short of nurses educated at the BSN and Masters level. Present nurses are also asking for updating in their education and continuing education.

 Our E-learning will help meet some of the challenges of distance and place. The twelve satellite centers located around the country are an important part of the education plan.

Our  prime goal is to establish a center of excellence in Nursing.  Please be assured that your assistance is a valued part of our challenges,
